The Lafayette Prayer Room is a community of believers committed to God, each other, and to establishing and maintaining a prayer room in Lafayette, Louisiana. Our vision is to work in relationship with the churches of Lafayette and surrounding areas as we seek to walk out the two great commandments to love God and people.
The Lafayette Prayer Room is committed to praying for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purposes that impact every sphere of society. It is our conviction that the atmosphere of a city/region/state can change when night and day prayer & worship go up. We want to create a dwelling place in the Lafayette area where God can rest.
Our aim is to go long hours in the Prayer Room focusing on Jesus through the Word, through intercession, and worship. As we dial-down on the inside and set our attention and affection on Him, we get much more revelation. We believe He is worth spending our time and energy on. Join us as we set our hearts to love God, worship Him alone, and yield our lives to serving Him in the place of worship and prayer without reservation.
